National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Published: 09/28/18

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an oppurtunity to raise awareness about the importance of detecting breast cancer in its early stages. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women. 1 in 8 women in the United States will get breast cancer at some point.

Most women can survive breast cancer when it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat. Read more information here.
