STD Awareness Week: April 12 - 18

Published: 04/13/20

In the past, April has historically served as STD Awareness Month. However, the CDC has announced that the annual observance this year will be recognized as STD Awarness Week, April 12 - 18. The purpose of this week is to raise awareness about STDs and how they impact our lives; ensure people have the tools and knowledge to prevent, test for, and timely treat STDs; and break down the STD-related barriers of stigma, fear, and discrimination.
